Tectedo was born the youngest child in an Eshan noble family. As usual, as soon as he opened his eyes and grew hair, he looked incredibly similar to his older siblings, a brother and sister. His mother a noble through military standings with his father being married into nobility, being formerly, an officer under his now wife's command.
Learning quickly how to read body language, expressions, to differentiate between his siblings, he was thrown (not literally), into the world of firedancing, Cothe was his mentor from an early age, the senior instructor was strict, unforgiving - and kept pushing Tec harshly in his training. Not being the only student she had, but the only male - he was subject to having to push himself twice as hard, train twice as much to get the same recognition from his instructor. Scars and callouses formed over his body as he turned annoyance, to stubborness and determination to prove he was as good as his peers. His young childhood, between four - and eighteen, he was solely within firedancing. He lived the 'dance', every motion, every expression he was honing his craft - echani foils cut against his skin as he pushed unrelenting within the training arena. When he wasn't within firedancing, he was in strategic study and noble meetings - only sitting by his mother to learn, but not interfere. Little joy was found within his childhood, except for dancing with his brother and sister - who were inseperable during their youths. What Tectedo didn't realise, was the Echani mentor was force sensitive, she saw Tec's sensitivity, causing her to be tougher on him then others - yet she didn't tell the young Echani.
As he reached adulthood biologically, as all Echani do - he had to do the tea ceremony for his family. Scalding hot tea in a pot poured to each member of his family, no handle given. His strength and discipline instilling in his pouring as his hands latched around the incredibly hot pot. Equally pouring the tea out, showing he treats none of them different to the other, he went on to the other ceremonies before he was seen within his people as a man of the Echani. Completing not only his training, and becoming a man - he sought peace and calmness, donning white robes befitting more a commoner, then a noble, he saw beauty in the little things, the emotions loved ones had to one another; a tuck of hair behind their ear as they spoke, a beaming smile. Seeing that, his outlook on the only planet he knew shifted, where noble meetings were brief, iintense and rought with expressions and echani 'conversations' - he now knew not all was like that. Farmers, craftsman, he would watch them all go about their day only to go back to his home, and study - seeing great generals like Yusaminis sprawled into Echani history. His military mind mixing with his compassion for others turned him from an all out fighter, to a stern, steady - unmoving wall to protect and fight back.
Time went on, the three Echani siblings, Bree, Caelin and Tectedo were sent to numerous unrests within the Eshan controlled planets, normally Bengali - and sometimes Thyrsus. Bree was always at the head of the sibling trio, not only because she was the oldest - but because of the matriarchal system. She was getting groomed to be the next head of the household, and once more - Tec, as well as Caelin had to prove themselves more and more to be even considered equal standing. Multiple echani conversations were had between the trio as they returned from combat missions, expressions shown and 'discussed'. Despite the disturbance between the three siblings, they always worked as one entity and unit within combat, showing fierce teamwork and unity. Blood was thicker then water, even if it was blood that caused the unrest.
Bree was getting accimilated into Echani politics, where she put down her vibrosword and debated with true expression in mind to secure her, and her house's place. This in turn made the triumphant trio, a dynamic duo - though with one less body that they fought with for so long there were clear weaknesses.
Bengali once again had turmoil, a sith was insighting unrest within the working caste. Months turned into years as Tec and Caelin were away from their home, working with a very small Echani task-force, to bring about an end. With the duo being a constant thorn in the side of the Sith, the evil-doer struck back, finding where the Echani were through a lapse in security measures. A quick, devastating assault was then initiated, bloody losses on both sides of the skirmish, all that was left was the three of them. The Sith apprentice, and the two Echani. They couldn't parry, or block the saber with the swords they had - utilizing their fluid, evasive manouevres to form some defense, where they were lacking in defense, he was forced into it from the constant strikes against him from the two skilled firedancers, their weapons wearing from the constant flicks and nicks made against the saber. Tec's blow shattering against the Apprentice's, causing his vibrosword to cut in half - only for the Apprentice to slice and cripple Caelin. Seeing his closest friend, his brother, fall - injured from the crippling strike. Tec felt the force swell in him for the first time, a burst of speed unleashed and propelled him forward - driving the sword into the throat of the Apprentice. Requesting Evac, the bombs from the enemies chained around the building they were stationed in - intent on saving his brother, he took hold of him and still with the force's influence, ran and leaped towards the adjacent building, shoulder first to break the glass.
Fatigued, and carrying his brother he made it to the roof for the shuttle to pick them up and take them to the family's medical centre. Caelin's nerve severed along his lower spinal cord, removing one of the vertebrate in the process - unable to do much to the saber wound Caelin was only able to make sure he was there for debates of the House, and not much else.
Tec was mortified, distraught. His family not consoling the youngest of the siblings, Bree caught up in her own affairs, and his parents were caring for him - though even the seasoned warriors didn't know how to process such a loss, as it hit so close to home. Tec found what little peace he could within the same place that forged him - the firedancing dojo. Unable to process the events within that fateful day, his brother crippled, him doing things he could not explain properly. Focusing on once more being the wall to not break, to save his friends and comrades his arms - from either his own slip ups in combat, or foes superior fighting prowess.
One day within training, revising his teachings. Cothe walked in, older - age showing on the woman since he left her dojo as a young man. Her stern face ever present, she conversed with him the way they both knew, through firedancing. Strikes coming from the both of them, his - a deep seeded regret, frustration, anger for not being strong enough to stop his brother being crippled. From her, mimicking the same regret - though not for the same reason, she had pride for the Echani student she had. After more 'talking', she told and expressed the same feeling he had when the force influenced him - she finally told him that he was force sensitive, in their own way - explaining that was the reason she was so hard on him, pushed him more, because she knew it'd serve him better should that truth, realisation, came out. She spoke of his brother, expressing that he fought as much as he could, that things happen - things unable to be controlled by one lone Echani.
With the regret slowly lifting, sadness fading - Tectedo said his goodbyes to his adored Mentor. Where once was almost hatred for her, there was now a deep adoration for her, a grandmother he never had, a friend that saw more in him then he did. Though the scars of her harsh, cruel mentoring was something not so easily forgotten, seeding his hatred for cruel 'taskmaster' teachers.
Keeping his brother company through tea catch ups, there was a lack of presence from Bree - as she was still busy with house duties. The resilience Caelin showed in the face of such struggles physically and mentally induced by his condition inspired Tectedo. Seeing him not whine or struggle, an underlying, strong perseverence in the face of adversity.
Tectedo was once again ushered to be at his own sister's heel, the strict hierachy within the house was apparent and no matter what he did to deserve praise or equal standing at least in the family's eyes with his sister, fell on blind eyes and deaf ears.
One day, Tectedos stubborness took hold, Bree spoke to him as not a sister, but as head as house - even though his parents were still alive, and very much kicking. He asked Bree to express her feelings, her reasons to him and him to her in the best way they knew how. Blows met with blocks and parries, it was an intense battle filled with expression on both sides. Though it was once more, not what Tec had imagined. The way she was acting, portraying herself - was because she wished to take on the burden alone, to make sure her brothers could live within some freedom amongst their house - though this came at a cost of being their superior, something not discussed properly to either of her brothers. Communication lacking on both fronts, Tectedo expressed himself to Bree, giving her the understanding of what happened within Bengali, the new 'gift' that Tectedo finally realised he had and the lack of fulfilment he felt within the grounds of their home.
