Ashe contacted a few within the Commonwealth to help sort out a problem, it seems as though many soldiers within the Commonwealth were becoming quickly addicted to the spice known as Dust. Having tracked down where the drug was originating, or at least the shipping of it, to Nar Shaddaa. The team landed and found themselves meeting with Ashe, who seems a bit nervous. The group was lead towards a casino deck, one of the man rent-able pleasure barges that Nar Shaddaa offered. Among the deck were several sabock tables, slot machines, dancers, and drink droids. The group split off seeking information about the location of the spice trades. Tobias, Karilik, and Ashe found through some means of investigating that the spice was being dealt by a group going by ‘The Free Merchants’ a free lance guild selling anything from flesh, spice, and spare parts. It seems that the Hutt Cartel is not involved only this group calling itself the Free Marches. The group soon found that the Free Merchants were hosting a sort of buyers market out of one of its Cantinas. Ashe mentioned having a contact Viz a Miralan splicer who provided them information and the location of the cantina. Splicing into the main networks Viz was able to wire Ashe a few passes to get inside the cantina. The group moved through the back streets and alleyways of Nar Shaddaa unmolested.
Upon reaching the cantina, one of the bouncers attempted to harass the group. Karilik seemed to stand up to the man, but Ashe had a final say when he called her a ‘Bitch’. It seemed the smuggler was a bit...triggered. With the bouncer dead, the other not wishing to fight the entire group, allowed them to pass. Once inside the doors Ashe attached several demolition charges against the door frames but continued on words, only priming them; not detonating them...just yet. As the group filtered in they could see nearly the whole operation or what looked to be. There were sellers of every type inside. Ashe lead them through the cantina, using the information gathered along with a bit from Viz who was covering the exit. The Miralan slicer had spliced into the city's camera grid for a short time, making them nearly invisible for a short period of time. Inside the cantina Ashe and company opened fire, Tobias instigated the fight with a classic beer bottle of the head. The cantina erupted into an all out bar brawl, those who attempted to flee were shocked backwards by the splicer who had set up emp charges away from the demolition charges but effective enough to shock feeling Free Merchant gang members away. Karilik used her cannon to various degrees of chaos, while Tupacca seemed to favor shooting random gang members. Master Septic seemed to favor his lightsaber, and cut through the den of villainy and sin with ease. Ottoie also favored a large assault rifle, akin to a cannon and opened fire on the gang members. Ashe had instructed to leave no one alive, that was of course after she had tranquilized one of the smugglers who were keen on a particular crate. The Arkanian’s keen sense didn’t fail her, as she managed to tag one of the smugglers, all the rest were downed by various members of the group.
Inside the crate was a single vial of Dust, Ashe pocketed the supply and just as she was about to interrogate the man, her holo went off. Viz had alerted them of impending danger, Ottoie gathered up the unconscious Zabrak and carted him off. The group was able to get away and as Tobias the last of the group to leave the cantina, Ashe clicked the detonator and blew the cantina up to dirt and rubble. Viz’s splicing held true enough and the cameras had them all safely aboard shuttles before any real news could be gathered, it seemed that news reports stated it was a rival gang attack over spice, and trade goods, and the sources were pointing towards the Huts. Even if it was wrong the Huts could very well claim it was them to prove their strength in the market. The group made it safely back aboard the Andromeda Ascendant, a prisoner in toe. Tobias took the prisoner for interrogation, his report is attached.
