Bio:
Dossier: Kid’riuku Rie’Ark
Age Upon Entry: 23
Current Age: 31
Place of Birth: Kaas City, Dromund Kaas
Race: Half Sith, Half Human
Before the Commonwealth:
The love child of two Sith Lords of different species, his mother; Nik’ol Starshifter(Human), and his Father; Ra’uul Rei’ark(Pureblood Sith). Kid’riuku was destined to become even greater than his parents. Both of his parents had already risen to their respectable ranks individually, and now with their power base combined, there appeared to be no one who would dare oppose them. As Kid’riuku grew, his parents began to teach him various aspects of battle and the force. Nik’ol sharing her knowledge of battle and Lightsaber combat, and Ra’uul passing on portions of his extensive knowledge in the Dark Side of the force, the History of both the Sith Empire and the History of the Sith Species. As part of his parent vigorous training regimine, at age 8 Kid’riuku was often used to infiltrate pirate organizations to help bring them under his parent control, and if not, to dismantle the organization.
At 13 Kid’riuku makes it to the Sith Academy on Korriban, where he begins his full time training to become a Lord of the Sith. While away on Korriban, Kid’riuku’s mother, Nik’ol, betrays her husband, Ra’uul, after seeing the power she was forced to share with him. Effectively claiming the entire power base for herself. Posing herself, and herself alone to become the next Darth. Kid’riuku would know nothing of this until after leaving the academy, but not before being left for dead by a, what he thought, friend and fellow acolyte on an artifact retrieval lesson they were sent on. The acolyte knocked Kid’riuku unconscious in the ruins they were searching, destroyed Kid’riuku’s speeder, and left him with nothing but his training blades. For two weeks Kid’riuku wandered in the direction the force pulled him. For two weeks he planned his revenge. When he finally arrived back at the temple, face and hands blistered from the Korriban sun, Kid’riuku marched into the academy classroom where he knew the Acolyte would be, and threw him up against the wall using the force. With a crowd beginning to form, Kid’riuku now throws the acolyte across the room. He draws his blades.
“Fight me now coward.” Kid’riuku says, rather calmly for the display he just put on. “Stand.”
The acolyte stumbles to his feet and draws his blade. Without hesitation, Kid’riuku drives the blade in his right hand straight through the face of the acolyte, killing him on the spot. This act of aggression would catch the attention of many Sith Lords, some less amused then others. However this act would bring him out of the academy and into an apprenticeship under his new master, Darth Yurois.
As Kid’riuku continues his training through his teen years, his parents legacy and power base have become to look more and more appealing to him. After learning of his mother’s betrayal of his father, while he understands the move she made, he grew a deep resentment for her, that he buried in her presence. Kid’riuku’s master, Darth Yurois was also a good ally of his fathers, and also shared in this resentment, and began to plot a scheme to over throw Nik’ol Starshifter, and claim her power for himself, Part of this plan was Kid’riuku himself. Years pass and Kid’riuku grows stronger, and much bolder with the promises his Master makes him of a strong power base, one to rival all contenders. Building him up to execute his grand plan. At the age of 22, a week after his birthday, Darth Yurois summons Kid’riuku to his chamber. Upon arriving to Yurois’ compound, Kid’riuku notices armed forces gathering in the yards around the compound. Slightly off put, and mostly curious, Kid’riuku proceeds up to the compound. Once inside he’s greeted by the usual slaves, who are then rushed away promptly by Imperial Heavy soldiers. Darth Yurois appears, accompanied by another Dark Lord, and an Imperial Agent by the name of Jojo Lett. It’s here that Kid’riuku is informed of Yurois’ plan, and that he would be the instrument of destruction that would bring down his mother’s empire and claim his rightful place as head of their forces. Kid’riuku’s ambitions would run rampant at the thought of the power he could possess if he were to replace his mother. With a hasty bow, he would hurry away to finalize some preparations and coordinate his attack with the Cipher Agent Jojo Lett, and military commands. Finally they’re ready, the moment Kid’riuku has dreamt of since leaving the academy. In an organized assault Kid’riuku, supported by a battalion of imperial soldiers storm the Starshifter compound, killing everyone who opposed their entry. Kid’riuku fights his way through his family house, through the rooms he studied in, ate in, trained in, to make his way to his mother. After a lengthy duel, Kid’riuku catches his mother making a mistake that would leave her body lying on the floor, or so it would appear. As he turned around to leave and secure his newly earned rank as Lord Kid’riuku, he received a holocall from his master, Who was now in his flag ship, two and a half kilometres above the battlezone. It was now that Kid’riuku felt his master’s true intentions. That his master never intended for Kid’riuku to leave the compound. Darth Yurois’ ship open’s fire on the compound with a barrage of heavy artillery, bringing the entire building down upon his head. After the dust settles, scavengers begin to pick through the rubble and find Kid’riuku, barely breathing, and only just holding on to his life. Darth Yurois catches wind of his survival and decides to just remove Kid’riuku from from Dromund Kaas and orders him to be exiled into the swamps of Kashyyyk. However, Kid’riuku has lost most of his memories as a result of the bombing, and now only remembers his name, and basic functions and tasks.
For a year on Kashyyyk Kid’riuku would be forced to hunt, gather and fight to survive, slowly regaining some skills he had before, such as his proficiency with dual sabers/swords. However his connection to force had been severed after the explosion. Then one day, while out patrolling for prey, Kid’riuku was ambushed by a group of Trandoshan slavers, who sent him to Tatooine to be sold as a slave. On auction day, the slaves were lined up to be shown one by one, or by the group for auction. While standing in the line, Kid’riuku looked down at the chains around his wrists, then down to the chains on his feet, he felt humiliated. He felt anger again for the first time in a year. It started out as a faint ring in his ear that grew with every step he took closer to the podium. By the time he was next in line the ringing had drowned out the noise of everything and everyone around him. Finally the ringing cracks into a dead silence, but a beat begin’s. A heart beat. As Trandoshans and Weequay begin to shout in his face, Kid’riuku hears nothing but the beat, it’s entranced him. Finally a large Gamorrean guard slaps Kid’riuku on the back to get him to step forward, which breaks the trace. When the trance is broken, a force wave is emitted from Kid’riuku that sends everyone on the main floor back and crashing into the walls. The viewers in the balconies begin to scramble for safety, all but one individual who remained, watching intensely.
The mysterious individual slowly approached Kid’riuku, amused by the display the young sith had put before him. Their eyes scanned him with the look of someone who found what they were looking for. Saying nothing, the individual handed Kid’riuku a datapad, and a boarding pass. Finally breaking their silence, through the mask they dawned they spoke, Kid’riuku was unsure what they said as the words were muffled, but he did catch the words Commonwealth. The stranger then proceeded to leave the auction house, signalling Kid’riuku to follow. Despite his instincts, Kid’riuku followed the stranger through the market of the pirate community the auction was being held, and out to where the stanger’s speeder was waiting. The masked individual, again, motions for Kid, this time pointing to the back seat. As Kid’riuku climbed aboard the stranger took off, accelerating off into the desert at full throttle. Trying to hold on, while covering his eyes from the sand, Kid’riuku took in his surroundings. He was definitely not on Kashyyyk anymore, apparent by the sand and lack of trees. The sun beat down on his face and hands, in the distance he could slightly make out the outline of a city ahead. First thinking it could be a mirage, he thought he was being led to his death, until a frigate entered his sight flying towards the towers. He was headed to Mos Eisley. Upon arriving at Mos Eisley, the stranger directed Kid’riuku to the spaceport, where he promptly had him board the next ship leaving for Alderaan.
